Foundations and Primers

 Foundations and Primers

Been exceptionally busy in the last few months. Been working for Maverick TV in Newcastle, doing presenters make up. Working on lifestyle shoots for the Media all over the north of England and also Models for furniture brochures. Lots of photo shoots with a young and talented Photographer-Rebecca Hull Photography, she has taken the recent shoots on my gallery of models wanting to update there portfolio for a local model agency in Leeds called Catwalk.

Been doing many weddings and seeing happy clients. Just to point out when you are getting married make sure that your skin is in tip top condition, I have mentioned this before but for some reason some people expect my make up to cover imperfections for instance, dry skin is not good for application of foundation as the makeup does not sit correctly on the skin and then the overlook is patchy and uneven and not giving out the dewy glow what brides need. I have to stress I am a make up artist and not a skin specialist and can only work my best but the skin is down to the individual.

Bought some new foundation by MAC but have to say disappointed as not a good coverage as expected. This was the sculpt range. So at the moment Bobbi Brown is my favourite at the moment, flawless, lightweight and stays put. Bought Garnier’s new primer and also disappointed as did not really make a difference. So think will stick to Smashbox as the primer the sell is the best!

Having lovely weather at the moment so make sure you look after your skin with lots of sunscreen!
